Why Free Spirit

A new chapter. The same passion.

After years of perfecting cocktail recipes for the most discerning guests in New York City, Gina wanted to bring that same quality home, to the tables of people who love to host, entertain, and celebrate with something genuinely beautiful.

Free Spirit Cocktail Company is the result of everything she's learned, pressed into a bottle. Hand-crafted in Glen Cove, NY using fresh fruit, locally sourced herbs, and raw honey, with no artificial flavors, no preservatives, and nothing that doesn't belong.

Equally stunning with or without alcohol, Free Spirit is made for everyone at your table, because great hospitality never leaves anyone out.

Gina Weinstein

Twenty years of hospitality. One perfect pour.

Gina has spent more than two decades making people feel welcome. She started out running the bar and catering at Izzy Bar & Lounge in New York City, then managed the bars at the St. Regis Hotel and Nobu Matsuhisa in Aspen, Colorado.

Back in New York, she spent 13 years at The Inn at Irving Place, a small luxury hotel in Gramercy Park, as Manager of the Cibar Lounge and the hotel's Food and Beverage Director. Her work at Cibar was featured in Time Out New York and Gourmet, and Business Traveler called it "one of New York's best kept secrets." Along the way she became a certified Bourbon Expert at the Maker's Mark Distillery.

Free Spirit is where it all comes together: the recipes she perfected behind the bar, pressed from fresh fruit and herbs and bottled so anyone can pour something beautiful at home.
